LL COOL J THREATENS TO QUIT RAP OVER JESSICA SIMPSON ? :

LL Cool J is bitter! The self-proclaimed "Greatest Of All Time" MC is burning mad that his last album "Exit 13" was trumped by America's sweetheart [or nightmare..depending on who you ask], Jessica Simpson.

Her new album, Do You Know, came in at number 4 selling around 65k units, while LL's came in at number 9 selling a meager 44k units.

"He's pissed!" says a source. He was so angry at one point that he was beaten by Jess that he actually threatened to quit rap.”Apparently the Def Jam star is having a hard time absorbing the notion that his time as a top selling rapper is over.

Nobody can argue that 44k units is not a good way to "Exit" anything.

There's been no comment from LL's camp about the rumor.

MAINO HEARTS MYA ?

New rapper, Maino called up Hot 93.7's Jenny Boom Boom to discuss his new album and some alleged rumors about him hooking up with Mya.
I keep my ears to the streets and live on the internet, and I have never heard of Maino hooking up with Mya. Matter of fact, I haven't heard the washed up singer's name mentioned since her no show to a Caribbean event during the summer.
However, I guess you got to get the people talking about you, right?
So I guess if Mya is the best Maino can do then we should just roll with it.
