News Travis Barker & DJ AM Critically Injured In Plane Crash, 4 Others Killed

COLUMBIA,SC- MSNBC reports former Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker, as well as DJ AM, along with crew and two additional passengers were involved in a midnight plane crash Friday, following an earlier performance.

Barker and DJ AM (real name Adam Goldstein) yet cling to life in an Augusta, GA burn unit while two crew members and two passengers tragically lost their lives.

Federal Aviation Administration spokeswoman Kathleen Bergen said air traffic controllers saw sparks coming from the plane shortly before midnight.

The Learjet veered off the runway and crashed on the highway adjacent to the airport.

DJ AM, a celebrity disc jockey named Adam Goldstein, and Barker have both been admitted to a burn center in Augusta, Georgia.

Goldstein, former fiance' of Nicole Richie performed as bandmate to the post Blink Barker under the group name TRVSDJ-AM.

Barker has worked with several notable Hip-Hop artists. Most recently, he collaborated with The Game on his new album L.A.X. and has remixed songs by artists ranging from Soulja Boy to Busta Rhymes.

Barker and DJ AM recently released a mixtape called “Fix Your Face,” a series of Hip-Hop infused remixes of acts like Run DMC, Michael Jackson, James Brown, and a diverse line up.

I saw that on cnn.... It was crazy to see the plane on the road. the fact that anyone can survive a goddamn plane crash is insane.

Damn, this is fucked up. I've seen DJ AM perform twice here in Sac. I never liked Blink-182 but I did always appreciate Travis Barker on the drums. Hope they get through it and R.I.P. to the four people who didn't.
