News 50 Cent Honored For 'Righteous Kill' CT Town Gives Him 'His Own Day'

Rapper 50 Cent is to be honoured with his own day in Bridgeport, Connecticut, where he filmed new movie Righteous Kill.

The hitmaker/actor, who calls the state home, insists the 12 October (08) Curtis Jackson Day honour could not come at a better time.

He explains, "October 13th is my son's birthday."

50 plans to take his latest honour seriously - he'll be spending the day in Bridgeport.

He adds, "I'll hang out at the nightclubs and enjoy myself." (c) WENN
