Is Janet Jackson Leaving Def Jam?

Following the "poor" performance of her 10th studio album "Discipline," Janet Jackson has been reportedly questioning Def Jam's ability to handle her artistry and is plotting her escape.

Ms. Jackson (if your nasty) would not give the details surrounding the alleged split but did say, "I can't say if we'll be working with them in the future," during a recent conference call.

When pressed further about her departure, she said, "I don't know what the future holds between the two of us."

Despite her spending break from the label, Jackson says that she is still planning her "Rock Witchu" tour. She says she agreed to do the tour because it is what her fans want.

"They tell me what they'd like to hear, what they'd like to see, what they want," Janet explained. "And this is what I'm trying to give them."
