Rumor Watch! Solange To Sign With Jay-Z's New Label?

Being an R&B powerhouse doesn't seem to run in the Knowles family, but taking care of business apparently is. Rumor now has it that emerging R&B singer, and baby sister of Beyonce, Solange is trying to sign on with Jay-Z's new label.

An high level music industry insider reportedly told MediaTakeOut.com that Jay has even put an offer on the table to buy out Solange's current contract with Geffen.

Word on the street is that Geffen, who also have a hand in the careers of The Game and Mos Def, are actually "seriously considering it."

At press time, there was no word on if the rumor was true of false. If it turns out to be true though, industry insiders are saying that it could be a good look for Solange.

Solange's second album, "Sol-Angel and the Hadley St. Dreams," is expected to hit stores later this month.

I don't care what anyone says...Solange could of had a hit with that song 'I decided'...somebody doesn't want her to succeed.
