News Raekwon "Only Built For Cuban II" Not A Commercial Album

So Cuban Linx part deuce is finally on the way.

Shout out to Alex of Killer Beez Promotions.

So where's Only Built 4 Cubank Linx II? is the question many have been asking. And then there's that crowd that love Rae and the Wu, but feel like a sequel to the classic first part is long overdue... and will be overlooked when it does finally drop. But we can't forget the consuming crowd, which consists of many youngsters who don't know and don't care to know about The Chef or anything he's cooking up. So how is Rae going to maneuver his way around these obstacles?

Meanwhile, another video has hit the net. In this video, Raekwon talks more about the new album, co-signs The Game, and explains what's been taking so long.

No hate on raekwon cos he has put out some classic songs but that whole ‘album isn’t commercial’ is just making excuses as it is unlikely this album will do good numbers. Any rapper that has a record deal is focused on sales. yes the album will likely be grimey hip hop without the pussy RnB singles but that’s his style, it doesn’t mean the album isn’t commercial. G unit got clowned by the haters for saying TOS wasn’t a commercial album

cant wait. But i was dissapointed in lex diamond and immobilarity...hope this is as good as part 1...actually i know it wont be. too hard to recreate that classic...it was just perfect for the time it dropped

i just couldnt get into those beats man. Really dissapointed in it, it had a couple hot tracks here and there...but overal i didnt like it. Didnt like the wutang 8D beats either

Personally, there was no bigger Wu fan in the 90's then me, I had every fucking album, every Killarmy, La Darkman, Wu Syndicate, Sunz Of Man, Swarm, Ghost Dog, Wu Chronicles, Shyhiem, fucked with Remedy, Killa Priest, Black Knights Of the North Star and so on, I loved the Wu, and OB4CL was a classic, but really, now, its been too long to drop this, this needed to happen years ago, its sad to say in this day and age of low sales, ringtone shit, nobody is gonna care. Yeah the album should be good, not like the first, but him saying its not gonna be commercial dont mean shit, the album isnt gonna sell, we all no that, but nobody will blast on it like they do G Unit, when they dont sell and there album aint commercial, but thats cause G Unit gets so much hate, Rae dont. But nobody is expecting this album to sell, who cares if it does, people want to hear the album, it wont be as good as the first, but def gots to check it out.
