Article 07/16/08 - The Future Legends, Who Do You Think?

Who you think are the next ten rappers to drop classic material in 08/09 and solidify their spot in Hip-Hop?

My list is:
1. Saigon - If you heard The Best Of Saigon Vol. 1 & 2 then you would know why. This nigga can dumb it down or be super lyrical for you at any time. The snippets of his album are better then nigga's entire songs.

2. Bishop Lamont - This nigga isn't the typical west coast rapper. His been dropping classic mixtapes which are better then mostly everyone's albums that have came out for the last 5 years.

3. Ransom - This is my nigga right here. His straight out of New Jersey not getting the respect he is due. "Best In The City 2" rivals Joe Budden's "Mood Muzik" easy.

4. Lloyd Banks - I don't care if you don't like him or not, this nigga is hard. If you haven't heard "Top 5" I recommend you download that shit immediately. He rips "Terminate On Sight" mothafucka. Nas cosigns this nigga.

5. Termanology - He is easily in the top three best lyricists out right now. His flow says everything for me.

6. Royce Da 5'9" - His coming with "Street Hop" & "The Revival" plus "The Bar Exam 2". I bet you all of them are going to be a classic. His always been on his shit. Now he has reconciled with Eminem and D-12 so it is about to be hell up in Detroit nigga.

7. Cashis - The Bogish Boy shows lyricism and versatality nigga. That's why Eminem cosigns this nigga so much. He is a breath of fresh air.

8. Joell Ortiz - I would compare to this nigga to Big Pun but Joell Ortiz is his own person. Just like everyone I mentioned, he has the full package.

9. Papoose - Simply a street poet. If he gets back to that lyrical grittiness and gets on a hot record label, he can drop "The Nacirema Dream" and get his fair due.

10. Nicki Minaj - She is one of the best, if not the best female MC doing it right now. She can actually rap (better than 98% most of these niggas) and has one of the biggest niggas right now backing her, Weezy F. Baby. Now if Lil' Wayne promotes her like he is suppose to and gets rid of all those wack ass niggas on his label then she would be good.
