He blew a speaker at 38,000 feet, nearly came to blows with 50 Cent's entourage and was named the Best New Zealand Artist at the MTV Australia Awards. It's all in a weekend's work for our man Scribe.

Things started off peacefully enough for Scribble as he enjoyed a nice wine in the airport departure lounge last Friday. But his fast-talking rhymes proved too much for the sound system aboard the MTV Mile High flight, which blew mid-air, filling the cabin with the ominous scent of burnt electrics. The following day, Scribe cruised the red carpet next to the notorious 50 Cent and his burly entourage. As Fiddy and his posse posed for snaps, the Kiwi prankster decided to tag along, sneaking into a few pics. But when Fiddy's boys caught on to Scribe's antics they were none too happy.

Luckily the fast-talking MC managed to avoid a confrontation, making it safely inside the auditorium, where he picked up the gong for Best New Zealand Artist.
