News 04/29/08 - Souja Boy To Go Back To School?

Teen rap sensation Soulja Boy, after basking in the success of his commercial hit "Crank Dat," off of his certified gold debut album Souljaboytellem.com, is already preparing his sophomore album, Back to School.
"Basically, it is really me taking it back to the basics," Soulja Boy told MTV News. "It's time to start studying again. Make it happen, man. [By the] the time I drop the album, everybody is gonna be going back to school. My fans are 21 and under. That's what I'm focusing on."
Not relying solely on a fickle music industry, Soulja Boy also has plans to expand his name as a business, with plans to launch a line of shades based on the signature pairs he wears in public appearances and videos, a line of sneakers, and also future plans for a cartoon based on his life.
No date has been set yet for Soulja Boy's Back to School album.

peopl gotta lay off this guy man... The kid gettin his money, let him, he had a great idea and used it now hes rich and famous... lets face the facts, not everyone hates Soulja Boy otherwise he wouldnt of sold so damn much, some of u lot must know the dance by now and i sure as fuck aint gon say i dont cos i do, everyone be doin that at the club u gotta join in and cos im a steet dancer u gotta do things like that dont mean you aint gangsta or thug it means u can have a good time.

Regardless this album will be like his first one, if he comes off anything like Young Joc then good luck to him cos Joc's doin it big now, on that track wit Cherish, he on 5000 Ones Zoom wit Boosie, loadsa different shit.

Alot of his songs sounded like poor renditions of 'Cranck Dat'. I doubt we can expect any different this time round.
