50 Cent invited MTV News to his Mansion to talk about some stuff including his Album Curtis and the upcoming G-Unit Album. Don't miss the Video for the Interview and another Article, just click the links on the end of the page.

When 50 Cent called his album Curtis a "dud" last week, people thought they can't believe their ears now 50 Cent explained it to MTV News:
""It was. It was a blockbuster that I lit, and it didn't explode. I felt like it should have went a lot further than the results I received. Publicly, I feel that 50 Cent fans don't believe it was a dud. It did have 'I Get Money,' it did have 'Ayo Technology,' 'I'll Still Kill,' 'Follow My Lead' with Robin Thicke. These records were hit records, but the timing they came out was wrong. If the first record you heard off Curtis was 'I Get Money,' it would have shifted more millions in sales."

He also was playing some new songs for MTV. The only Song title 50 Cent revealed from the upcoming G-Unit Album "Locked and Loaded" is "The Party Ain't Over". A song featuring all 4 G-Unit members, including Young Buck. There is one song in wich 50 Cent jokes that he doesn't care if his enemies fall off a building. The album also will feature a Swizz Beatz-produced track, wich probably will be called "Down".

When talking about the other G-Unit members, 50 Cent said: "I created monsters, Frankensteins. I got three of them. It's like creatively they got strong opinions on things they like. ... They'll be telling each other, like, 'Yo, I'm telling you.' They got a different way of saying it to each other than saying it to me. They be like, 'Nah, he be saying we need to keep this record.' ... I think their solo careers changed what our collaborations were in the beginning. If you look at the beginning of the mixtapes, I was creating the hooks.""

About working in the studio with lots of different people: "You should be amazing on the album. You don't have to write three verses. All you have to do is one. You should write three and pick one. I'm like, 'You're a solo artist right?' I'll tell them to redo the verse [if it's not up to snub]. 'Just do it again. Let's see what the second one sounds like if we're not sure.' They don't mind. The process is interesting because they've developed their own personal liking for things they want to do. But the response to the mixtape material — which has proven to them they should listen — is making them follow what I'm saying."

Curtis just wasn't that good although it did have a few bangers I think Kanye stole the thunder with his album though. But I can't wait for the new unit album. I though Elephant was pretty hot and Yayo who I always hate on is seeming to get better. I would like to see Game and Units album come out on the same day they would both generate great sales. Im gonna cop them both.

As far as SPI, its a 50/50 chance hes on....cuz IMO, 96 percent of the time he doesnt show talent that fits with GUnit...but if he made a nice song, there is that chance he makes it
