Rumor 03/27/08 - G-Unit, Game & Nelly To Go Head-To-Head On June 24th?

Just when we thought the battle on June 24th couldn’t get any hotter, Interscope Records has confirmed that G-Unit’s sophomore album will also hit stores that day. That means 50, Lloyd Banks, Young Buck, and Tony Yayo will go head-to-head with 50’s nemesis Game and Nelly for a chart battle that could rival Kanye West and 50 Cent.

We can’t wait to see how this one plays out. Is this a genius marketing move or is 50 about to get served again?

kanye had a jump start from the beginning. those cd's was flying off itunes before they even announced he was coming on september 11th

not gonna happen, when they are amongst interscope top acts, so they wouldn't get final release day on same date, they all gonna get pushed back to different days...

when you battle someone, you start at the same time. kanye was supposed to been drop. they made it known. had the album on itunes for pre-order... then they pushed it back a few times... he had a quicker start. they played the hell out of 50. then knew they had a quick start on the sales. thats why they didnt move from sept. 11th. they took on 50

now back in january... if they would have said we both coming on sep. 11th... thats a fair battle to see who will win

i give him some props for getting sales on his own... but winning the battle... no... not to mention the songs from 50 album
