Hey, rap fans, The Rocket and Hot Toddy Productions continue to bring the platinum-selling, major-label, Grammy-nominated hip hop acts to town. First, Atlanta rapper Dolla, currently sitting at No. 44 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart (thanks to the novel idea releasing a single with a four-letter word in the title), is going to be hitting the stage at the downtown Jackson night club on St. Patrick's Day, and even bigger names are on the way in the next eight weeks.

The show on Thursday, March 27, will feature Nashville rapper, G-Unit member, noted The Game/Lil Wayne/DJ Khaled antagonizer, Dr. Dre sucker punch avenger and occasional bullet magnet Young Buck (nee David Brown). What else does Wikipedia have to say about Young Buck's career? Well, he sold 2.3 million copies of his debut album, "Straight Outta Cashville," while his 2007 follow-up hasn't faired nearly as well, scoring a mere Gold Record certification. His best-performing single to date is 2004's "Shorty Want a Ride." (Whoo boy, you know my feelings on "shorty"/"shawty.")

On Thursday, April 24, Fabolous (nee John Jackson) will be performing. The Brooklyn native has three platinum records to his name and a No. 1 rap hit, last year's "Make Me Better."

You may also know Fabolous from Christina Milian's Grammy-nominated hit "Dip it Low," although his verse was cut from the video version in favor of more shots of Milian writhing around.
