02/13/08 - Rihanna Involved In Car Accident
R&B singer Rihanna was involved in a car accident on Sunday (February 10), shortly after she accepted a Grammy Award alongside rapper Jay-Z in Los Angeles. According to reports, she was in her vehicle when another automobile struck her from behind. "Rihanna was inside her car outside the Island Def Jam party when another vehicle rammed into it. Fortunately no one was injured," an Island Def Jam representative said in a statement. Rihanna and Jay-Z won a Grammy Award for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for the hit single "Umbrella."
