Rap Chart Movement: Lupe Is Still King, DJ Drama Sneaks Into Top 10

Lupe Fiasco's The Cool remains at the top of the Billboard's 'Top Rap Albums Chart' this week.

After 3 weeks on the charts, The Cool has sold a total of 229,200 copies.

Right behind Lupe at No. 2 is Soulja Boy who continues to crank out registers with his debut album Souljaboytellem.com. The set pushes 24,200 discs this week, pushing its total to 682,700.

Platinum status continues to elude Jay-Z who sits at No. 4. American Gangster only scans 23,600 copies this week. So far, the album has sold a total of 911,000 discs.

Despite a slight decrease in sales, Kanye West moves up one spot to No, 5. Graduation reels in 22,600 copies in its second week, bringing the album's total sales to 1,910,500.

Birdman is still flying high at No. 5 after four weeks. 5 Star Stunna scanned 21,400 this week. To date, the album has sold 193,300 copies.

Bow Wow & Omarion slip two spots to No. 6. Face Off shelves off 18,500 CDs in its fourth week. So far, the album has sold 254,000 copies.

50 Cent stays put at No. 7. Curtis ropes in 12, 5000 units in this week, pushing the albums total to 1,230,000.

The Wu-Tang Clan hold fort at No. 8 as 8 Diagrams rakes in 11,200 units this week. The album’s total stands at 132,200.

A spot away is Scarface at No. 9. 10,600 people picked up M.A.D.E this week, bringing the album's total to 131,400.

Wrapping things up is DJ Drama ONG> who sneaks back into the Top 10. Gangsta Grillz moves 9,600 units this week. So far, the album has sold 107,600 copies.

At least Soulja Boy ain't talkin false shit most of the time. He ain't actin like he in the streets. Dude produced his own records and goin plat at 16 thats an achievement regardless of the type of music he is puttin out. I doubt 50 could do that when he was 16. (I aint no 50 hater, I liked Curtis).
