Pop superstar Michael Jackson is to launch a multi-million dollar comeback tour at London’s O2 arena, it has been revealed.

The 49-year-old former ‘King of Pop’ will receive $60 million for for the 30 day show at the London venue—formerly the Millennium Dome — a whopping $2 million a show.

The residency will be Jacko’s first tour in a decade.

Michael has been working with Black Eyed Peas star will.i.am and rapper 50 Cent.

A source close to the financially troubled singer said: “Michael will be back on stage soon. He’s been working hard in the studio mixing tracks and getting his vocals back in shape.”

It is 25 years since Michael Jackson released his hugely successful album Thriller, which became by far the biggest selling album of all time with worldwide sales reaching over 104 million copies.

Recently his career has been in rapid decline as he battles crippling debt and controversy surrounding his private life.

Wacko has allegedly squandered his $1.5 billion fortune and he is $160 million in debt through mounting loans and lawsuits. In 2005 he was cleared of 10 child abuse charges but amassed a $30 million legal bill.

And his 2,700-acre Neverland ranch could still be repossessed after he failed to pay back a £12 million loan in October.

The source added to Britain’s News Of The World newspaper: “Michael’s had a tough few years. But he’s still a pop legend and wants people to remember him for his music, not his problems.”
