10/22/07 - Common Auditions for Justice League Movie

Two more names have auditioned for roles in the upcoming Justice League of America movie. Josh Duhamel (Transformers) recently read for a part, likely that of Batman. Bijou Phillips (Hostel II) recently auditioned for a part as well.

Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Grindhouse) said this about her audition for the Wonder Woman role.

"It was just a read. Kind of an audition like any other but it was very nerve racking because it's a pretty huge project. I was just shocked that they asked me," Winstead revealed. She added, "I don't know what my chances are. They're keeping pretty mum."

Meanwhile, rapper Common said the following about auditioning for the part of Green Lantern.

"I just like to go out for good roles, anything, that's all it is really, whether it's a comic book or true story or whatever it may be. I wanna be a part of great projects, but yeah, I'm familiar with Green Lantern because I collected (them) when I grew up."

This site has more details about Common as The Green Lantern. Apprarently he already read for the part with Warner Brothers...and his main competition right now is....Tyrese. Check out the site for the full story....

no hate to common.. but i dont' think Green Lantern would be a good choice..

Mekhi Phifer would be a good green lantern.. na mean..
