09/03/07 - The Game is safe, sound and smelly

Ok, everyone can relax. The Game isn’t missing anymore. He’s at my place, he’s been crashing on the couch for the last couple of days. We’ve been playing lots of Wii Sports. I’m better than he is but I’ve been letting him win. He’s been in a bad way, he got lost in Auckland on Saturday night, he gave me a call and said “Tommy! I’m completely lost, I’m in some place called Manukau and the show was supposed to start an hour ago.” I told him to run like the dickens, as, based on personal experience, Manukau is not the safest place to be, even in the daytime. I gave him directions to the airport (with the help of Smaps), and he turned up on my doorstep around 4am.

I was super excited to meet The Game, we’ve been talking on line for ages but I’d never met him in person. He looks a lot different in person, with his long dirty red hair, his spectacles and his scraggily beard. His accent is much more Irish then I would have expected too, but everyone fakes an accent when they rap so I guess it makes sense that he doesn’t sound like he does on TV.

Although at first we bonded quite well in the fact that we were both kicked out of the G-Unit, unfortunately The Game is becoming more and more difficult to live with. He isn’t showing any signs of leaving either. He’s eaten all the peanut butter, gone through 10 rolls of toilet paper, left a mess in the bathroom, and insists on picking his scabs and his toenails in front of the TV in the lounge. He also drinks an uncanny amount of methylated spirits, strained through an old sock. My flatmates are getting rather agitated but they are too polite to say anything.

I’m not really sure what to do. Do I let him know that he’s overstayed his welcome? The couch is apparently starting to smell quite rank and we may have to burn it after he goes.
