With the release of his third album, Curtis, around the corner, 50 Cent plans to kick-off the new album with five performances in New York City the week of the album's release. According to XXL, the rapper will perform in one location in each of the city's five boroughs during the weekend of September 15. Fans in the New York area that are interested in attending the 50 Cent 5 Borough Tour can listen to New York's Hot 97, where tickets will be given away throughout Labor Day Weekend. ...
Chamillionaire has big expectations for his sophomore album, Ultimate Victory -- and he wants fans to share in his wealth. The Houston MC plans to give out autographed commemorative platinum and gold plaques of the album, worth $300 each, as sales of the album begin to come in. 100 will be given out when Victory drops September 18; 200 will be given out if it goes gold; and 300 will be issued if it goes platinum. The mysterious white powdery substance authorities discovered in a locked bedroom inside rapper DMX's Cave Creek, Arizona, home (see "Narcotics Turn Up During Raid Of DMX's Arizona Home") last week turns out to not be drugs after all, according to Maricopa County Sheriff's deputies. Police have not revealed what the substance is actually, but officers also seized an unspecified amount of marijuana during the Friday morning (August 24) raid, as well as drug paraphernalia, the carcasses of three dogs and a dozen other dogs that seemed malnourished.
