07/17/07 - POW Radio Info: New 50 Mixtape, Video, POW Mag,

Last night, DJ Whoo Kid returned to POW Radio on Hot 97 after being gone for weeks. He didnt play any real new shit, but he did mention some shit that is in the works. He said that 50 is working on his new mixtape right now, that G Unit Radio 25 is coming, not sure if they are the same tape, it was said that G Unit Radio 25 was called "The Envy Of The Industry" and was 50's tape, Whoo Kid did not say, he just said that they both are coming.

Also, he said that 50 is shooting She Wants It this week, he said it is a $1 million dollar video, and it isnt no little Youtube video that is cheap. He said that POW Magazine number 2 is coming in a week and a half, which in Whoo Kid's world means it will be out in Oct. It should have 50 on the cover, on a BET show a week or two ago they showed 50 and Whoo Kid at a photo shoot for POW Mag, so 50 should be on the cover.

Riz who is Sha Moneys artist, who has a song and vidoe for Red Light, Green Light out now, and a track with Banks Go Hard or Go Home called in, thanked Whoo Kid and Mandog for there suport, I believe Whoo Kid might be doing a mixtape with Riz, Whoo Kid did mention that people think he is takening a break and all but he about to hit em with some shit. Well, he hasnt dropped a tape since Yayo and Bucks tape came out on like Feb 21, thats 5 months without a tape, so yeah, he needs to drop some tapes. He did say he cant wait to play some of the new 50 mixtape shit, he ended that talk by saying that they are working, I assume he means Banks, Yayo etc. are also doing some new shit. Whoo Kid did say he is back for a few weeks before he goes back out on tour with 50 to hit the promo tour heavy, so I assume he would drop his tapes before he leaves, so probably by the second week in Aug taps should be out, but with Whoo Kid, who really knows?

Let me just clear this up real quick, they way I worded it, about 50's mixtape, he didnt say that 50 and G Unit Radio 25 are both coming, that would mean they were 2 different tapes. He said in the begining that 50s new tape was being worked on, then later on in the show he said G Unit RAdio 25 is coming, so they could be the same tape, or maybe not.

Yeah, you right, but this is just what Whoo Kid said. Maybe that was getting all the footage of JT they needed while he was out there, this could be 50 doing some solo shit on his own this week.
