06/29/07 - The Game to Feature on Xzibit's New Album

For his new album, X welcomed hot Californian rapper The Game as a guest. Following the support slot, The Game has run into some trouble with the law and with his record company - his second album has sold below expectations.

"He's going through growing pains like every other new artist," X says. "He made an impact and has a good sound. Hopefully the music can overshadow the drama."

As with The Game, X feels heavily indebted and influenced by one of rap's godfathers, Doctor Dre. X was invited on the infamous Up In Smoke tour (with Dre, Snoop and Eminem) in 2000. His career immediately took off following the tour.

"I always learnt a lot and gained so much from working with Dre," he says. "Up in Smoke was a pivotal turning point in my career. I really turned the corner. The next record I put out after that went double platinum. That tour made it for me."

Record Companies are all tripping, Interscope with 50 and all them, they aint ready to see low sales, with al lthat I tune Bullshit..

Game needs to Understand that he wont sell 5 mil again, specially with his Gangsta album...Album was Fuking RAw as fuck, what do u expect with Remedy, Looking at u, Compton? Tracks WEre Dope but raw as fuck...

No rapper will ever go 2 mil again, 50 cent might sell 1.5-2 but he wont go further.

We just have to wait and see for T.I sales, 50.
