06/26/07 - More Proof That Rapper Trina Bleaches Her Skin Like Michael Jackson
A few months ago, MediaTakeOut.com was the first news source on the world to tell you about rapper Trina and her skin bleaching. Well now, one of our faithful readers, we'll call him M.A., sent us some pics that show the extent of the changes that she's undergone.
In the first pic, taken only a few years ago, Trina is shown with a golden honey brown complexion. But in the pic taken just a few days ago, Trina is substantially lighter. It's not likely that such a dramatic change could have occurred without some form of skin bleaching. Hydroquinone, the leading ingredient found in most modern skin bleaching products, was first tried in the 1930s by some African Americans who found they could use it to fade discoloration. The chemical works by hindering the creation of melanin, causing dark colors to fade as older cells are replaced by bleached ones. Many scientists believe that bleaching creams, even if used according to the directions, cause irreparable damage to skin. And even worse - a growing number of them believe the cream is a possible carcinogen. Source-
