50 CENT credits his near-death shooting for giving him his distinctive voice. The rapper admits he feared he'd never be able to speak again after a bullet knocked out all the teeth on the left side of his mouth and left fragments in his tongue. The 1999 shooting's aftermath cost him a record deal with Columbia and led to much soul searching and speech therapy - but now he's convinced he was supposed to be shot in the mouth. He says, "My voice was completely different... But it's funny, this is the voice that everyone enjoys now. It's made me think that maybe it was God's plan, maybe I was supposed to be shot."

old news, no hate, but that has always been known ever since he got shot. 'n if you listn to songs prior to the shooting you can hear a difference. props still on the post, some may not have noticed.

its not his fuckin voice that people like...fuckin idiot...its the style music he makes..that melodic shit...and that came when he was working with em and dre..before that he was just singin, that shit wasnt catchy, but now it is...and i think its all thanks to em and dre
