06/07/07 - Hip Hop controls the Hot 100, 50 cent struggles to find his position

Billboard charts

For a second consecutive week Rihanna's "Umbrella" comes in at #1 on billboards hot 100.

Coming in behind her is Da Shop Boyz's "Party Like A Rock Star", which holds the #2 spot for the second week in a row.

Konvict Music star T-Pain comes in at #3 with "Buy You A Drank", moving up from its #4 spot the previous week.

T.I.P.'s first single "Big Shit Poppin" comes in at #31 this week and slides back from his #30 position last week. On the Hip Hop&R&B charts he moves up from #18 last week to #14 this week

Meanwhile 50 cent is still out of the Hot 100 top 50, but his single "Amusement Park" is #40 on the Hip Hop&R&B charts, it moves up 10 spots from its #50 spot last week.
