HHDX News Bits (Scream Tour, T.I. & Troy Hudson)

The annual Scream Tour is back for 2007. It's got new acts on the bill for this year with T.I. and Ciara. Screamfest '07 will take off at the end of this month.

The dates and tour stops will be announced in a week. Major cities such as New York, Miami, and Atlanta are noted as definite stops, according to some reports. Supporting acts for the tour will also be announced at a later date.

T.I. will be performing in support of his new LP T.I. VS T.I.P. which should drop July 3.

In a recent interview with MTV, he spoke of what it meant to have Wyclef behind his next single "You Know What It Is."

"This song reminds me a lot of 'Bring Em Out...Like how people didn't expect me to come back on no vibe like that, but because of [the track's producer] Swizz [Beatz] it was easy for me to make that transition and do something different. And this is the same thing. 'Clef did the same thing for me on this album," he said.

To many basketball fans Troy Hudson is seen everyday playing for the Minnesota Timberwolves but he is trying to change that by going out on tour with former Scream Tour member, Bow Wow.

Hudson will join Bow, Huey, MIMS and Crime Mob on the Prince of Fame Tour. The outing will be effort to support his debut album, Undrafted. Hudson will make his debut on the tour in his hometown of Carbondale, IL.

Hudson's first single off his album features singer Ray-J and is titled, "Tru Love."

"I started writing and making music because of my love for it, but I also wanted to fill the void of music being represented from the Midwest," Hudson said.
