04/27/07 - Cam'ron's A "DipSh*t," Kanye & 50 Cent "Kiss & Make Up,"

In this week's Pulse Report, the streets are buzzing about Cam'ron's "60 Minutes" appearance, Kanye West's shaky manhood and Russell Simmons being clowned by Bill O'Reilly.

1. Cam'ron named imbecile of the week. Snitches get stitches. That's always been the case. But that code just may have gone too far according to some. Cam'ron, of all people, appeared on "60 Minutes" to speak on the "Stop Snitching" movement at the top of the week. Expectedly, Cam put his sock in his mouth. Moments after nonchalantly stating that folks should only speak to police officers to say, "hey, how you feel," Killa said he would move, but wouldn't tell anybody if he knew a serial killer lived in his building. [Watch "60 Minutes" Pt. One and Part Two] The statement premiered only days after Cho Seung-Hui killed 32 people in the Virginia Tech massacre. H.D. and that "SOHH On The Scene" Model Sam Ed then hit the streets of Harlem, NY to get the people's opinion on snitching and Cam's appearance on "60 Minutes." [Watch Here]

Shockingly, Cam issued an apology for his comments later in the week. "I'm sorry for being dumb," Cam said. Ok, he didn't say that. "Looking back now, I can see how those comments could be viewed as offensive, especially to those who have suffered their own personal tragedies or to those who put their lives on the line to protect our citizens from crime," Cam said in a statement. You know he didn't write that. But seriously, Cam's apology may have something to do with documents surfacing to contradict his "never snitch" code. Word is Killer fingered his assailants for the police after being knocked out at a basketball game back in 1999. [See Document Here] The bottom line is that more mainstream media outlets have now gotten a hold of Cameron Giles. Not a good look.

2. Kanye's manhood questioned. As previously reported, Kanye West is one of several A-list producers 50 Cent has tapped for his third solo LP. Interesting considering that Fif kept mocking Ye's sexuality just last year. In addition to anticipation, the forthcoming collaboration has sparked a debate. Is Ye a punk for not responding to Fif and then jumping a record with him, or must he be commanded for brushing his shoulders off and getting his money? What do you guys think?

3. Bill O'Reilly takes on Russell Simmons. Not really. At first glance, the segment seemed quite peaceful. But a second look reveals that O'Reilly doesn't take Simmons too seriously. The segment opened with a clip of a 2002 interview with the two arguing on the negative impact of gangsta rap on kids. [Watch Here]"Are you actually agreeing with me now? Have you changed your mind," O'Reilly sarcastically asked, before Simmons offered an apology for questioning whether or not he cared about "kids in poverty."

When asked why he wants the words "nigga," "bitches" and "hoes" removed from rap songs, Russ than explained with perhaps the most idiotic statement anyone can make: "I think the rap community always tells the truth," he claimed. What the fiddduck!! This dude can't be serious. Anyway, O'Reilly can't wait to put his hands on Cam. After briefly speaking on Cam's "snitching" comments, ole Billy warned, "Cam'ron needs to be wised up. He was in here. If he comes here again, I'll wise him up." Just when Simmons finally got to promote his book, Do You, O'Reilly's smart ass snapped, "wow, you're turning into the Dalai Lama here, you know that Russell."

4. Suge Knight sticks up for Britney Spears, Sean Penn visits Eve in jail? Talk about weird pairings. Who knew Suge Knight and Britney Spears are now BFFs? Cameras recently caught Suge looking for trouble at some industry function. After being told that Kevin Federline was at the event, Suge went looking for K-Fed only to find out that he was bothering a look-a-like. "I like Britney cause she the homegirl," Suge explained. "She the underdog. We gon' kick his [Federline] fucking ass out of LA. If that fool wanna act fucked up about Britney or act weird about her kids, we'll chase his ass up out this city." On another note, Sean Penn paid a visit to Eve during her brief Hollywood jail stint. Ehhhhyeeaaahhhh! Eve was reportedly arrested for a suspicion of Driving under the influence after crashing her Maserati on Hollywood Boulevard.
