DR. DRE - REHAB?

Ahhhhh, I pulled you in. Dr. Dre isn't in rehab, but we heard that it might be the next chapter after Detox drops. Word out of the internet is that Dre plans to drop a boatload of previously unreleased songs from his 20-year career. YEP. We'll likely get exclusive stuff from way back to the NWA, Eazy-E and even Death Row days. All this, minus all that drama!

SHENELLE SCOTT - GET MONEY!

Rumors abound are stating that Shenelle Scott is fielding mad offers for people wanting to interview her. In fact, she's looking to secure some serious money for that exclusive interview, I heard. Now, on the flip side, I heard that Playboy magazine is also in the financial running. Well, my friends, Heff is likely to win - he's caked up. They might as well throw in a few lewd pictures while they are at it. The rumors that the baby is Jay-Z's aren't going any place fast, you know. There are still a lot of people that SWEAR that this kid is his...obviously, Jay-Z isn't speaking without the use of a publicist and Shenelle isn't exacting confirming anything. I guess we'll see how it plays out...eh?

As Lisa Lisa once said, "Apology not accepted!" As for Imus, somebody needs to "KKKramer" his a** - banish him to the 60's or something! Not only for being racist, but being a corny shock jock. He's wack and he's paid to be shockingly wack. Anyway, here is some footage of him on Fox...sigh.



KELIS GETS TO THE POINT

Kelis recently performed at a "white" party down in Palm Springs and I heard there was a lil' beef. The club - for what its worth - was a gay spot and she supposedly wanted her money right up front. She also didn't want to do a sound check or a rehearsal for her two-song performance. Apparently, the organizers weren't too pleased with her reluctance to hang around. Anyway, no word if her show was good, but I'm sure she established who was the boss. Didn't she have some issues with slurs to gay people? (I know the answer...don't reply.)

MORE HUSTLE THAN FLOW?

Taryn Manning isn't a happy hooker. Just kidding, but she played a super hooker in Hustle & Flow and she claims that she hasn't been paid for her roll in the movie. Now, she's pointing the finger at John Singleton, according to Stuff magazine. "The one thing that sucked was that our contracts weren't really honored by John Singleton (producer)," she said. "Everyone thinks I'm so loaded (paid in full) from Hustle & Flow, and it's such a joke because the guy completely d**ked us over." Not the best of promo for Singy.

DIDDY RE-INVENTED LIL' KIM

Well, not exactly, but it would appear that Diddy is going to help Lil' Kim get back on her feet as an artist. Two days ago, I got that Lil Kim recorded her verse for a Diddy remix of "Last Night." On top of all of it, The Game is also reportedly on the remix as well. I'm glad to see this occur and hopefully this marks the return of the Queen Bee. I don't mind the return as long as we can get the older version of the QB.

PERSHIA - THE POT CALLING THE KETTLE BLACK?

I got a few letters from people that were tight with Pershia for taking exception to Jeezy & UDSA's lil' White Girl promotion. But, if you recall, Pershia was a frequent user of the "N-Word." I doubt that she is in a position to talk about somebody else. Still, Pershia is pretty dope, but maybe she needs to pick her battles more wisely. On top of everything, the USDA crew is falling back on the promo altogether. Def Jam publicity won't even let people ask Jeezy about it anymore...What are they afraid of? I hope not a rap battle with Pershia!

50 CENT LAUGHS AT PROTESTS

50 Cent went and took protest footage and flipped it into promotion for his new single. Also, he reportedly purchased the URL Ban50.com. Hilarious. He had quite a few kids in the video too. This guy is too much...



ILLSEED'S QUICKIES

Lisa Bonet is reportedly dating Jason Momoa, and actor whose credits include Stargate:Atlantis. I have no idea what that is, but I used to have a crush on Bonet in the "Cosby" days.

I don't like the sound of this. Cam'ron has apparently renamed his next album to be called Courtesy Curtis. Nah, nah...can't be that serious.

Spider Loc has dissed The Game in a song called "Toe Tags," where he says "I can't beef with a diva whos beefin' with Vida." He rides several beats and drops heavy lines like, "a drag queen will never be LA's king." He also disses Nas and Fat Joe and even says some slick stuff about Young Buck and him not being like the Tennessee rapper. Hmmmmmm...

Teairra Marì is back, ya'll! She's got a new song called "Money" and the song features Shawnna. I like it. Its a pretty big record, but I have no idea what label is attached to the project.

When google said "Who needs to delete when you have over 2000 MB of storage?!" they didn't know about illseed.
