In a collect call interview with Hip-Hop Weekly, ghostwriting Dipset member Max B had a lot to get off his chest. Quite frustrated, Max B suggested that Jim Jones--in addition to the blatant fact that he hadn't been paying Max as he should have--has done absolutely nothing to help a brother out. Check out (part of) his story:

"I'm currently incarcerated for conspiracy to murder and a robbery charge," he told HHW . "I'm innocent. I wasn't even in the state. As far as niggas gettin' me out, I'm still in here. Aint nobody gettin' me out. Man I can't even explain the reason [Jim Jones] is not gettin' me out. I don't know. I can't call it. I don't know how much money niggas is worth. I can't answer that question but that's something the people need to ask. Niggas don't even know I'm paying for my own lawyer. I fired the lawyer that was appointed to me by Jim, 'cause he got caught up in money laundering. He takes my case and then two weeks later he in jail hisself wit a $1.5 million bail."
HHW: What did you do with your money? You had done a lot of work writing songs for Dipset.
"Man I wasn't getting paid properly... I did a lot of work on Jim's new album and I aint get no help with that either....[Now] niggas making music about me. When I was out niggas wasn't making no songs about me."
HHW: You talking about Tru LIfe or something else?
"That's what I'm talking about. Sucking dick and all that. I ain't with all that. I'm in here fighting for my life and niggas is out there playing around. I seen son, son ain't say nothing to me. I don't even know these niggas. I seen the nigga. I ain't know who the fuck he was. Now I get locked niggas start talking. When I hit the town, we gon' see man. That's all I can say."
IF you hit the town. Sounds like his own people, the very people he had been inking hits for, don't give a shit about him. This sounds like a "my-best-friend-stood-there-and-watched-me-get-jumped-so-I'm-beating-his-ass-next-time-I-see-him" situation. As for Tru, he barked up the wrong tree, even though he did the dis record where he referenced Max after they had brief (and silent) encounter.

Those other Dipset cats might not stand for much outside the booth, but Max might be an exception. Tru better take heed. And Jim had better start paying niggas for bars. However, Max is an idiot for working basically for free in the first place.
