Jermaine "JD" Dupri has signed his first artist at the president of Island Def Jam, the producer/mogul announced via his personal website last Wednesday. "I just signed my first artist to Island. His name is Hot Dolla. He's from Compton," JD said on this myspace blog. Be on the lookout for his first single, "Streets On Lock. If you live in LA, then you know what's up."

Rumor has it, JD told Barack Obama at a party that he is going to marry Janet, and eventually have a kid with the pop diva.
