03/16/07 - 50 Cent's Album Has A Release Date!

50 Cent says that his latest album Before I Self-Destruct will be released Jun. 19. Fifty also said in a radio interview that his third album is better than his previous projects Get Rich or Die Tryin and The Massacre.

The G-Unit honcho expects that when the album will do good since his first one sold 11 million and the second one sold 9.5 million. In the same breath Fifty said the goal to sell albums in this day of age is hard thanks to Internet downloading.

"I'm getting ready to go into this project, considering that Apple is selling millions of iPods and Microsoft is coming out with competing products and Sony — everybody has something that encourages people to download material instead of purchasing the actual CD. " Fifty said.

The album will feature production by J.R. Rotem, Rich Harrison and also Timberland.

I can't see 50 goin pasr 2X Plat. I Hope he does, I REALLY do!! But think about it:

- Many people won't buy it cos they hated The Massacre
- It will probably leak
- Jada,Game, Bang em and Fat Joe have tried to turn fans against him.
- Lots of people lost respect for him cos of the Nas shit.
- Faggot ass Game fans will post the shit all over the internet, just like they did with Rotten Apple.

Let's be real... 50 sold 20 Million$ records... He went diamond with each album and that's with both album leaking and people downloading the shit out of it prior to the official release date.... So right now He doesn't have to worry about fans buying his CD.... 50 CAN go diamond again BUT It's all about the music, If the music is right the fans will follow...
