03/01/07 - LAPD Looking For Diddy
After the Oscars, Sean "Diddy" Combs was in high spirits, but its been alleged by a Los Angeles real estate agent that Diddy punched him early Sunday morning at a Hollywood hotel.
The LAPD confirmed that an incident report was taken on the alleged 2:30 a.m. scuffle at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, in which an unidentified person was accused of battery. An Associated Press report states that police named Diddy as the alleged aggressor in the incident. The hotel is across the street from the Kodak Theatre, where the Oscars took place on Sunday night, and Diddy was reportedly in town for Oscar-related events. The complaint was filed by 27-year-old real estate agent Gerard Rechnitzer, and was possibly because of the man's wife who Combs is accused of flirting with and causing a confrontation between he and Rechnitzer. It has been said that after Combs asked Rechnitzer's wife to accompany him to a party and when Rechnitzer interfered, he was punched by Combs. A spokesperson for Diddy declined MTV News' request for comment on the matter. source-hiphopdx
