Justin Timberlake, Mary J. Blige and Pink are among the celebrities who have sent Britney Spears messages of support following her meltdown and stint in rehab.

Pop star Timberlake left a personal message for his former girlfriend Spears - whom under centre rules is not allowed to receive calls during her stay - after calling California’s Promises treatment centre last week. He has also asked Britney’s mom Lynn to let him updated on the pop star’s progress.

Friends claim Timberlake left a personal message for his ex-girlfriend after calling the Promises treatment center in Malibu, California, last week.

"He wished her the best and told her to get healthy and come back as the Britney he knew," a friend of Timberlake’s says.

Mary J. Blige and Pink have also called to centre to leave messages for troubled Britney.
