02/07/07 - R. Kelly In Hospital
R. Kelly has been hospitalized in Miami following surgery for a ruptured appendix over the weekend. He will miss a scheduled court date in his child-pornography case on Wednesday (February 7), The Chicago Tribune reports. Kelly was expected to attend the status hearing, which will now proceed as planned without the singer, according to an official at the Cook County State Attorney's office.
