(andPOP) - Hip hop star FABOLOUS took the opportunity to restructure his lifestyle after being shot in New York City in October.

The INTO YOU rapper, real name JOHN JACKSON, was shot in the thigh by an unknown gunman as he left Brooklyn restaurant, Justin's, on October 17. Since the shooting, Jackson has worked hard to rearrange his team of personal assistants to avoid any more dangerous.

He says, "It was a life-threatening experience, so I took it as that. Even when I got my truck back (after the shooting), I looked at (one of the shots) in the windshield - it was high enough to be a head shot. I looked at that as being more dangerous than the leg thing.

"It happened in October, and I had two months to really think about what was going on. I didn't have my structure around me right. Once that thing happened, I had to get a structure within my life and make sure I get this s**t moving right. I had a lot of things that wasn't moving right. Everything was moving on spur of the moment.

"Anybody who's in a leadership position or a boss position, you need to have some structure. You need to have certain people who make the whole clock keep running smoothly. I look back at the shooting like if s**t would have been structured right, maybe none of it would have been happening."

Camron=Fabulous=Beanie Sgle=Niggaz sho got shot in the legs or arms or thighs. What kind of niggaz shoot at them? Fuking Stupid Niggaz cant even aim and now fabulous will be talking about it alll over... I bet its a fake publicity bs.

Look at 50, nigga claims he got shot 9 times, wtf? Was a shooter using a BB gun or some shit?
