I know the rumors are late, but I do other stuff in my life than just rumors!

This rumor has actually been alive for quite a while, but word is director John Singleton is possibly going to make Karrine "Superhead" Steffens’ book into a major motion picture. Now, can you envision Elise Neal of Hustle & Flow playing Superdome? I don’t know. Perhaps! Since Superhead appeared on Oprah, maybe O can get behind and push the project along, because I’ve heard this rumor for a while. At any rate, I think Super should play herself. She’s kinda done that in real life and she’s got a few movies on her resume anyway.

KANYE WEST’S COMING BACK!

You know, I’m a huge fan of Kanye West and I think that these rappers today forgot what it takes to be a star. Anyway, I’m hearing that Kanye is about to come back out. From what I hear, he’s coordinating this with the real college graduations – about May 2007. I hear the album is nearly finished and will feature some of the craziest collaborations like Stevie Wonder, Jennifer Hudson, Jay-Z, Nas and others like Chris Martin from Coldplay. What do you think? The album is going to be called Graduation and he might even be graduating from Roc-A-Fella. Hmmmm....

31 DAYS AND GOING…

WHEW! James Brown STILL isn’t buried, people! This is CRAZY! What are they doing over there? His body was recently moved from a climate-controlled room at his South Carolina home to some secret location. James has been there since December 30 after his award tour. No word on why the body was moved, but I think I know why. Its been 31 days! What are they doing? Anyway, they are supposed to turn his home into a museum and they are consulting with the founders of Elvis Presley’s Graceland.

MONICA IN TROUBLE?

Monica is one of our enduring R&B singers, but rumors are really buzzing that she might be released from her contract with J Records. Her most recent album has yet to go gold, but one person at J Records is rumored to have said, “Personally, I love Monica, but she needs to do more to promote herself. She needs better management and she needs to re-invent herself by doing movies, clothing lines, movie soundtracks and just being more in the public eye. Atlanta is not New York or Los Angeles. She needs to leave her comfort zone and be more visible if she wants to remain competitive in this industry. Hood cutie Keyshia Cole and the legendary Keith Sweat have collaborated on a song which will appear on her upcoming album, Tears From a Soldier's Heart. Shouldn't that be solider's eyes?
