But when niggaz post up shit about any other rapper and the source ain't reliable on toppa landin in the gossip section y'all niggaz STILL believe it. I don't know the fate of 50s album. But I can say this...alotta big names in 2006 didn't do "standout" sales. And just because hiz name iz 50 Cent don't mean he's GONNA do big numbers. Y'all think G-Unit gon be on top forever? Hell they ain't on top NOW. Only 50 iz on top ONLY because he is a big seller. Nobody is on top forever. Remember Death Row? Remember Master P and No Limit? Remember Puffy, Mase and Bad Boy? Juvenile and Cash Money? DMX and Ruff Ryders? Roc-A-Fella? They was all on top of the game at one point but what happened? New rappers came along and became popular and all the other cats took a backseat. Same thing with G-Unit. They ruled 2003 and 2004 and most of 2005 (because of The Documentary and The Massacre). But now these cats takin the backseat. People gittin tired of hearin these cats. G-Unit Stans on this site only make up a VERY small percentage of rap fans period. So just because all y'all on this site rallying behind 50/G-Unit don't mean the results will be killer sales. Remember y'all rallied behind Yayo, Mobb Deep and Lloyd Banks and looked what happened? This thread ain't about Game so why bring him up?

50 is one of the best but nobody will ever sell what he did in get rich or die trying not even himself so it could be true that he's asking for tht type of promotion money. By more promotion is probably the only way he will do some numbers.

let's ride is a good song. i'm not a dick rider. game did a good job for not having much help on this album, but for those saying he is responsible for g-unit's recent slide...

like i said yayo wasn't promoted as good as he should have been and that includes whoever chose to make curious the second single. that song shouldn't have even been on the album. i think they rushed yayo's album too soon.

The sales drop was hugely affacted by Game. Also Buck did lose his chain. 50 did snitch on supreme. Yayo did flop. 50 did appear in an extremely gay looking cover for GQ. Yayo did start out older than a lot of rappers. Game's homie did get shot outside of hot 97 by some police officer working for 50. 50 did have a protection order from Murder Inc. 50 also does use beef to promote all of his albums. 50 does sing and make girly songs. People really haven't heard of Spider Loc and he does spend a lot of time at his message board. Mobb Deep really did where those "Game over" t-shirts after being cool and working with game. Prodigy really does have sickacell. So much for your theory about stuff he said being fake.

Game was never a stripper. 50 did a lot less for Game's album than he claims. Game never used to be a crip. All of these are things that were said against Game and there is no proof of this.

Since when do all disses have to be factual to be effective?

DA is moving 10s of thousands of units each week. He is selling better than 90 something % of hip hop artist currently including Yayo,banks,mobb deep, and scrappy.

everyone is doing worse but when G-unit was on top atleast the were selling more than just about all other artists.

Nas,Jeezy,Ludacris,Jay-z,Game,Lil Wayne and Birdman,Diddy,Yung Joc and Snoop are all doing better numbers than g-unit members.

and click on "searchable database", then type in the name of the artist or the name of the album.

It's logical for Iovine if this was true, to feel that way.

The music industry is in a slump, and the budget he may be asking for may be ridiculous. Yeah, he could probably sell a mill in the first week, but the problem is.. Would he keep selling?

Would Iovine make back the money he alotted for 50's budget, which we all know may very well be in the millions.

Think like a business man and not like a fan for once and you'll see that this seems to be true and logical.
