Jayceon "The Game" Taylor faced that dilemma last year, after 50 Cent dropped him from the G-Unit. However, his defiant determination, compelling lyrics and fearless bravado in taking on 50 and his whole crew carried his debut, The Documentary, to sales of over three million copies, establishing him as one of hip-hop's brightest stars. The Compton rapper's upcoming sophomore release, The Doctor's Advocate, will be devoid of any involvement with 50 Cent and possibly Dr. Dre, as rumors have suggested. By now, it should be obvious that The Game has no problem standing on his own, and his first single "It's Okay (One Blood)" proves he'll come out firing again.
