Rapper Jail for School Girl Rape

A rapper has been jailed for five years at the Old Bailey for raping a 15-year-old schoolgirl at a Prince's Trust concert in April last year.

Aaron Marston, 20, was also banned from working with young people after his release and ordered to sign on the sex offenders' register.

The girl was separated from her friends at the Trust's Urban Music Festival at Earls Court.

The event was attended by thousands of music fans and artists included Will Smith and Craig David.

The victim was taken aside by a group of young men, ushered into a chill-out room and allegedly sexually assaulted by one of them. When he left the room Marston entered and forced the teenager into oral sex.

Marston, from Bow, pleaded not guilty to oral rape but was found guilty by a jury.

Judge Stephen Kramer told him: "She said she was scared and in disbelief that this was happening so quickly after what had just taken place.

"The victim was only 15, although it may be that you thought she was 16 or 17, but she went through a traumatic experience at the festival for which she had come to London from the south of England and which she had been looking forward to for a long time."
