MC Shan Airs Out Joe Budden, "Just Slap Him In The Back Of The Neck"

Hip-Hop pioneer MC Shan, known for battle rapping KRS-ONE, has called out Joe Budden and said the New Jersey-based rapper has continued to embarrass himself through his live blog broadcasts and for allegedly apologizing after being assaulted by Raekwon's camp last month.

Speaking in an interview on Street Disciplez Radio, Shan aired out his issues with Budden and why he finds the rapper "corny."

"If you see Joe Buddens in the street, just slap him in the back of the neck 'cause he's so full of it," Shan said in an interview. "He's trying to use the Internet, there's nothing wrong with it, but when somebody punches you in your eye and puts it on film and makes you apologize, quit. Quit -- most of the time you outnumbered. I would have took the punch in the eye, right, but forget about me apologizing. You already punched me in my eye, picture me apologizing. I better not catch one of y'all by yourself -- Joe Buddens does a show on BlogTV, I used to do shows on BlogTV. You can go on there and watch his videos and see how corny he is. Joe Buddens, I don't care, I'ma see you and if you wanna pop off, that's what it is. But I'ma be by myself, so it's gonna be a one-on-one. So if either one of us get an eye jammie we ain't gonna say the crew did it, n*gga. Understand me? Budden originally claimed he was assaulted by Raekwon's camp last month backstage at a Rock The Bells concert.

"It was such a sucker punch," Budden said in a live broadcast. "Rae didn't punch me. For the people just joining us that would like to know what happened...I'm trying to figure out how this could happen...Just need to let n*ggas know, that I'm all right. I know how the Internet is. It moves 20 times faster than real life...It's gonna look like some other crazy sh*t that didn't take place, I must really love you guys...Them n*ggas came in here like Storm Troopers and sh*t. They made a grand entrance...They asked me a whole bunch of questions that they didn't want to know the answers to...it was like an interview gone wrong. My whole thing is, I would have had the most utmost respect for that n*gga if he would have been like, 'Eh, take a walk with me.' I just don't really know how these guys think they can do a show right after. How you gonna perform after that?...Now it's not Slaughterhouse versus Wu-Tang, it's definitely not that. It takes that leverage away. I'm definitely sexy still." (Blog TV)

Despite a previous challenge to Raekwon for a one-on-one fight, Budden later said both parties were in the process of calling a truce.

"It's fixed," Budden told radio personality Angie Martinez Thursday (August 13) afternoon. "Slaughterhouse is for peace -- the [handshake] was for business purposes. I think we're already there [for moving forward.] I'm not saying me and him in particular, but, the people who need to speak to each other are definitely speaking to each other..." (Miss Info)

Other hip-hop pioneers have called out Budden in the past including Melle Mel.

"I was the first rapper to win a Grammy," Mel said in a video clip. "I wasn't surprised to see myself so high on the list in Vibe because anybody that knows about hip-hop they've known for years before it became it became the record business and even while it became the record business, I was a staple...My only surprise is that I'm not No. 1. I don't really consider Joe Budden young and I don't think he know but I just think he think that Melle Mel would be a softer target. I don't think he wants to question the fact that Eminem is No. 1...I got a [body] chart, let's just say if it's from 1 to 30, let's say Melle Mel would be the throat part or the mouth part of hip-hop. Joe Budden is down here at No. 32, that's somewhere around the a** crack or ball sack of hip-hop...You take Melle Mel out the equation, nobody would be the same. I recall MC Shan being full of it a couple of years back and thought he was too good to be in the classic song the symphony, i guess times have changed.
