Jay-Z Takes Oprah Winfrey To Marcy

There was a lot of money in Bed-Stuy over the weekend, and the streets were watching. Jay-Z brought Oprah Winfrey to his old neighborhood on Sunday as they filmed a segment for an upcoming show.

The Queen of Daytime TV and the King of Brooklyn chilled on the stoop in front of Hova's grandmother's house on Lexington Avenue and Lewis Avenue, then later swung by the famous Marcy projects.

Winfrey has angered other hip-hop stars such as 50 Cent, Ludacris and Ice Cube by speaking out against the genre and seemingly having a policy against booking rappers on her show, but it appears Jay-Z has finally broken through.

As part of the show, the "Hard Knock Life" rapper will reportedly talk about his upbringing in the projects, how me made his fortune, life with Beyonce and his efforts to help underprivileged youth.

Yeah it's good for Jay but I bet they will be talking about Beyonce a lot and how their life is.

I like Jay-Z but Jay is not like the average rapper from these days, He's in a different position right now. He got so much going one but I don't think they'll discuss his music videos like 'Big Pimpin' or Fiesta the uncensored version.

If Jay did nothing else but rap I doubt he would've been on her show.

Diddy been on her show to choose a new PA. You think Oprah cares about how Diddy came up or his relationship with Biggie?

No offense to Jay but I don't really count this as him being Jay the MC on her show.
Maybe when I see it I'll change my mind.

Oprah should make a show about rappers who are giving back to the community.
