Ja Rule Calls Eminem Out On Mariah Carey Diss
With the Eminem/Mariah Carey beef making headlines all over the 'net and "mainstream press," rappers like Ja Rule are weighing in on the situation, offering their opinions of the rapper's blistering Warning diss track.
Ja put his issues with Em's artist 50 Cent to the side to offer his take on what he considers a uneven feud. "It all stemmed from an Eminem comment," Rule told SOHH in Mariah's defense. "With him saying he peed on her or some sh*t like that, I don't, you know, come on. Real talk, there really shouldn't be any [diss] records being made. [laughs] It should be a lot of swinging and swinging. But hey, it is what it is...I don't feel like -- I don't have to insult a woman. Even if he did do that, let's say he did do that, you're kissing and telling now? You a chick? You Superhead? You kissing and telling and sh*t? I don't know." Em goes in on both Mariah and her husband Nick Cannon in Warning, calling her out of her name and suggesting he has proof of not only the relationship, but incidents that can damage the singer's career. "I got the same exact tat that's on Nick's back/I'm Obsessed now/Oh geesh, that's supposed to be me in the video with the goatee, wow, Mariah, didn't expect it to go balls out," Em raps over the Dr. Dre beat.
