Fat Joe Blames Album Pushback On "Lack Of Promotion"

The latest album from Fat Joe, J.O.S.E. 2, missed out on its Super Tuesday release date due to insufficient promotion, according to a statement from the rapper issued to XXLMag.com.

“We wanted to make sure we had a second single in the marketplace,” Joey Crack said. “We dropped the first single with Akon and will be coming soon with the T-Pain joint.”

The album was scheduled for release last Tuesday (May 19) along with new discs by Eminem, Busta Rhymes, Method Man & Redman, and DJ Drama. The Terror Squad leader initially addressed the album delay in a Twitter message, placing the blame on a sample clearance issue.

Still without a release date as of press time, the sequel to Joe’s 2001 platinum album will also feature cameos from Lil Wayne, Ron Browz, Lil Kim, Fabolous, Ne-Yo, and Raekwon.

I think Fat Joe can be quite annoying.. Especially when he keeps ranting about G-Unit and stuff... And he may not be the best rapper out there. But nonetheless, I think he makes good/quality music.

Even though I'm not a fan at a certain artists attitude at some point, I still recognize their music.. And if it's good I listen to it.

I just wanted to bring that up because alot of people bash his music just because they don't like him.

it's really 50's fault. if he had responded in a stronger fashion to Joe's recent jabs maybe more people would be interested in this album. frankly I think a lot of these artists should just make 50 their A&R so that he has a financial incentive to beef with them since without 50 they seem to be nothing.
