Jadakiss On The Lox Returning Bad Boy, "It's Beneficial For Us"

Former Bad Boy artist Jadakiss recently discussed the possibility of The Lox reuniting with Diddy.

Willing to allow the Bad Boy CEO overlook his career again, Jada described what precautions the group would have to take.

"It's always possible," Kiss said referring to the label jump. "We've learned anything beneficial to L-O-X or anybody in our camp as long as it's beneficial for us is okay. It's about knowing what you getting involved in before you get involved. That first contract we signed, we ain't really know and a lot of people do that. We learned, we found out quicker that most dudes. Whenever I signed a contract ever in life after that first one going to be beneficial for me more than anybody or it won't have my signature on it....Only thing that separates D-Block or L-O-X is jail or death. No money, people trying to get in your ear trying to divide and conquer, none of that is gonna work." (Street Heat)

Diddy recently expressed his support for Kiss in an episode of P. Twitty TV announcing him as a Ciroc Vodka spokesperson.

"It's a big, big, big, big day tomorrow," Diddy said. "Tomorrow this comes out right here, The Last Kiss. You gotsa have that. We just did deal we just probably sponsored a tour, some of the videos everything else. The family is back together." (P. Twitty TV)

Lox were previously signed to Bad Boy Records but tried to get out of their contracts in the late 1990's.

The trio was unhappy with their position, they claimed they were being presented as manufactured and for the mainstream. This accumulated in a massive campaign to get the Lox off the Bad Boy label. There was a campaign with 'Free The Lox' T-Shirts which the artists themselves rocked in protest against Puffy forcing them to stay on the label due to contract issues. Eventually Puffy allowed them to leave their contract. (Bad Boy Forever)

After a publicized radio dispute and subliminal diss records, Lox and Diddy finally came to terms with one another around November 2005.

"I've kicked it with him in the studio and talked about life in general, not just music. This was after the bullsh*t, the big publishing argument on the radio. I don't know what made us get tight, I guess time heals all wounds. Not for nothing, I learned a lot about the game from Diddy, despite whatever happened with us, however it turned out. Jada never said they took Diddy's offer to return. I wouldn't do it myself. But, they did resolve their issues with him. And I'm pretty sure they learned from their mistakes in the beginning.
