Soulja Boy On Chris Brown, "He Needs To Be Focused On Fixing Himself"

Teen rapper Soulja Boy Tell 'Em has spoken on the Chris Brown and Rihanna dispute by offering advice to the estranged couple.

The "Camera Phone" hitmaker recently revealed his reaction to learning of the domestic dispute.

"[Chris] needs to be focused on fixing himself right now and fixing the relationship," he explained. "Both of them are my friends and I wish both of them the best of luck. They were really good together and it is sad that it happened. It came out of nowhere...Remember that only God can judge though. None of us know exactly what went down that weekend. Only they know the whole truth and it will be up to them to decide if they can get straight with it and whether they will want to continue as a couple. I can just be there if either of them need me." (Entertainment Weekly)

The Game previously played down the seriousness behind the couple's February 2009 fight.

"I think it's a sad situation," Game said in an interview. "I think the point that everybody's missing is that they both kids, man. What we thinking was some major domestic violence was probably just a little cat and puppy fight between people that used to be teenagers just like yesterday, man. Rihanna can't be no older than 20 and Chris Brown I know is about 20 years old...People making it out to be more than it is like the media always does anyway, man. I say give the kid a break, man. I'm pretty sure they're gonna end up back together anyway." (Wild 101.1)

Fellow West Coast rap veteran Snoop Dogg recently offered a spot on his weekly variety show "Dogg After Dark" to the troubled couple.

"I would definitely have them on the show," Snoop said in an interview. "Or anyone that is in the music or entertainment world...I would have to have Dr. Phil on the show because that's not my section or department, but I'm sure Dr. Phil would have some advice," he said. Jokingly adding that if Dr. Phil wasn't available he "would get Dr. Dre to come on the show for them." (Hollyscoop)

Rihanna is reportedly working with the authorities as Brown's upcoming case approaches.

"We deal with her attorney who says she is a cooperating victim," L.A. County D.A. spokesperson Sandi Gibbons said. Adds her lawyer, Donald Etra: "She will do everything that the law requires her to do...nothing has changed." Brown, who, like Rihanna, did not attend this weekend's "Kids' Choice Awards," is due in court to be arraigned on two felonies April 6. (US Magazine)
