The event will be highlighted with a speech by General Motors Global Design Vice President Edward T. Welburn.

"We are pleased and excited to have Mr. Welburn back home to bring his professional, educational and inspirational experiences to the 100 students, along with their parents and other guest and supporters," Urban Youth Racing School Founder Anthony Martin said in a statement. (Black News)

The Philly rapper is known for supporting the school's charity events, including last year's third annual Grand Prix of Philadelphia Celebrity Race.

Sigel recently made headlines after a shooting erupted at his birthday bash earlier this month.

Police said 24-year-old Tyheem Baker was shot in the upper left chest around 1 a.m, March 7, after getting into an argument with two unidentified men. Baker, who was rushed to a nearby hospital and is in stable condition, told police he did not know the men who shot him. Police revealed that prior to the shooting they were called to the club after a fight took place outside the venue. They also said that the club's video-surveillance system "mysteriously malfunctioned." (Six Shot)
