And I had no critique on the article, only on the ensuing discussion (which is what a forum is ALSO for). Anyone is perfectly able and willing to respond if they see fit. That's the point of the option to quote other postings. Forgive me if my response was too long for you, but this one'll be longer.

The first response I gave was toward someone who missed the point of race being an irrelevant factor. And if you are ignorant enough to equate 'white' with 'suburbs,' then that too is disappointing.

The third response was a legitimate hip-hop discussion. I wasn't hating. Sorry if you don't get the references or whatever your problem was with that one.

And the second response was to some poser claiming to critique from a perspective he doesn't have and a profession he isn't preparing for, trying to define himself in whatever interest wrapped him up this month.

And one more thing, complete your argument with something much less moronic than 'shut the fuck up.' An attempt at silencing someone is evidence of a lack of cohesive argument. If you are going to be a 'mad writer' then be more eloquent and concise.

I'm the dumbass? Apparently I have to repeat a few things for you because you're running in circles and getting caught up in your own logic. But lets start off on a lighter note. It's obvious you wouldn't get offended at having a period because you're probably have to be the dumbest cunt to type up a bunch of stupid shit and mask it as logic. In case you havn't noticed, my equating white with suburbs was perfectly relevant. Why? Well you're a journalism major, read the fucking article. Obviously that shit's pertaining to white people the whole way through. It's all relating the stereotypical white, lanky college kid to Asher Roth's music. If that guy says 'well hey, i'm white I think he's shit' then it's completely relevant. Even your first response was total, utter shit.

Your second response is a stupid assumption. I just told you I write for my school newspaper and I believe journalism has consolation to journalism regardless on what level the profession is. If I want to fucking comment on this guy's ability to write then since i'm studying it I should be able to give my PERSPECTIVE on it. The same perspective I'VE gotten from writing similar articles.

I'm white, and honestly, I like all kinds of music from hip-hop to metal. This "music" he does is amateur at best. All this guy did was make a song about college life and now all these moron college kids think "Oh shit! That's like my anthem!" so now he's popular. He literally speaks like a robot.
