Usher Apologizes To Chris Brown For Comments

Usher R&B superstar Usher released a statement to apologize for his comments towards Chris Brown which appeared in a video by Jermaine Dupri's video series Living The Life.

"The comments made during a recent recording session amongst friends were taken out of context and blown out of proportion," the statement reads. "I apologize on behalf of myself and my friends if anyone was offended. The intentions were not to pass judgment and we meant no harm. I respect and wish the best for all parties involved."

In JD's video, Usher said that Brown should "have a little bit of remorse" instead of riding a jet ski in Miami after the altercation with Rihanna.

When Usher saw the pictures of Brown riding the jet ski during what was called his "reconciliation" weekend, he stated, "I'm a little disappointed in this photo. After the other photo [of Rihanna's bruised face]? C'mon, Chris. Have a little bit of remorse, man. The man's on jet skis? Like, just relaxing in Miami?"

Brown has to appear in court on Thursday (March 5). The singer is facing charges for the incident with Rihanna on February 8.
