Most of you probably remember the Bronx based duo Camp Lo (Sonny Cheeba and Geechi Suede) from there hit song Luchini from their classic 1997 debut album Uptown Saturday Night.

Group member Sonny Cheeba was recently in a serious automobile accident while on his way to a show in Charlotte, North Carolina. Cheeba was taken by ambulance to a local hospital and his partner Geechi Suede, who was not in the car at the time of the accident, was forced to start the show without his partner. Suede was later informed about the accident and let the crowd know. Unexpectedly Cheeba checked out the hospital and made it to the show in time to perform Luchini with Suede.

Recently Camp Lo signed a deal with SRC Records and released the single Lumdi. On March 24th, Sonny Cheeba and Geechi Suede will release Stone and Rob: Caught On Tape, a mixtape with all new material. They are also reportedly working on a new album entitled A Piece Of The Action, which still doesn't have a release date as of yet. The album will be there fourth full length album and the first since 2007's Black Hollywood. Late last year the group changed their name from Camp Lo to The Lo, after taking advice from DJ Mr. Cee, who told them it was a good way to reintroduce themselves to the public.
