LL Cool J Set To Appear In CBS 'NCIS' Spinoff
Veteran rapper LL Cool J is reportedly set to star in CBS' planned spinoff of "NCIS," planning the role of a man named Sam. According to Variety, the rapper/actor plans "a tough but charming former Navy SEAL who works undercover for the NCIS unit in L.A. and is an expert on the Middle East." The untitled CBS spinoff is set to air as one half of a two-part episode of "NCIS" -- which itself is a spinoff of "JAG" -- later this season. In addition to LL, British actress Louise Lombard will also appear in the show. The rapper has appeared in several TV Roles over the course of his career, including recent guest spots on NBC's "30 Rock" and Fox's "House." SOurce: ballerstatus
