Fat Joe Weighs In On Rick Ross Beef, "Nobody's Scared Of No 50 Cent"

While pledging to distance himself from the rap battle between Rick Ross and 50 Cent, Fat Joe recently addressed the G-Unit rapper's perceived tough-guy image.

While promising not to become involved, Joey Crack recently questioned Fif's street status in an interview with radio personality Jenny Boom Boom.

"Rick Ross is my brother," Joe said. "I'm just telling you [the battle] is a bit too much for me already...Nobody's scared of no 50 Cent. Are you nuts are something? 50's nothing, man. Nobody's scared of him, I mean, tell me one person 50 Cent has fought. All this hoopla and all this stuff he's doing, you tell me who he has fought one on one. Why should we be scared of this guy in the slightest way?" (Jenny Boom Boom)

Joey has repeatedly suggested that 50 should fall back from his focus on dissing Ross.

"50 Cent just gotta make music," Joe said in an interview. "He does all these diversions and disses rappers to eliminate the fact that he's not really hot and relevant right now. So if two weeks ago we were talking about 50 Cent, what record or what would we really be talking about unless he disrespected Rick Ross...I'm tired of all these gimmicks and these games. This man's just gotta put out hit records. That's what we're doing...We making music. At the end of the day, we fell in love with hip-hop to make music and hit records." (Kendra G)

The rap battle has caught the attention of other rap stars including Busta Rhymes.

"I'm a big fan of Rick Ross," Busta said in an interview. "I'm a big fan of 50. I just feel like it's great entertainment, I just hope it stays that way...When it's to the street, it ain't about the rhymes anymore. It's about poppin' somebody's head off and compromising somebody's well-being...Motherf*ckers need to start undestanding that as far as hip-hop...a lot of the sh*t we're seeing, people might call it real beef but it ain't real beef until it get in the street. A lot of this sh*t is entertainment...Until it becomes real beef, it ain't real beef. It's just a lot of motherf*ckers outwitting each other...If we're gonna compete, it's about strategically moving your chess pieces. Jadakiss recently said the lyrical war could benefit hip-hop in the long-run.

"When I was going through it with 50, I'm glad he didn't have ThisIs50.com 'cause that's like a crazy outlet," Kiss said in an interview. "He don't even gotta do no music, he can just do wild skits and put new stuff on there and new paperwork and everything and that's drawing in so much traffic and attention that it's almost like slaughter...We should try to keep it at the music as much as possible. It's good that he put wild skits and funny cartoons and stuff on the site...but the most theraputic for hip-hop is them to keep dropping songs. That'll keep the violence out of it." lol, i like some of Joe's stuff, but 50 is one of the most prolific battlers out there. My fofo was a nice track, but fif comes so much harder than most other guys.
The Game is one of the only other guys like that, comes hard with diss after diss. That's why that beef was so entertaining, and i hav a feeling this'll turn into a long term beef.
