T-Pain Working On Auto-Tune Phone App

“Rappa Turnt Sanga” T-Pain is reportedly working on bringing his signature Auto-Tune vocal styling to your cell phone.

According to the Los Angeles Times’ Pop & Hiss music blog the hip-hop hook man has linked up with Antares Audio Technologies for an Auto-Tune application for the iPhone. Fans can use the company’s vocal-transforming program to pitch-shift their voice over the phone.

In addition to the voice altering affects, Antares is also working on software for fans to make music on their cell using Pain’s beats. As of press time there is no scheduled release date for the app.

T-Pain’s latest album, Thr33 Ringz, is currently on its way to gold status. After 13 weeks on the charts, the Florida-bred crooner has sold 478,120 discs.
